I get good FPS in Link's Awakening on Vulkan and less 30 FPS in Breath of the Wild with the 60 fps mod. I have no idea what's wrong except for maybe my CPU is a bit too slow. MeatSafeMurderer. •. Because it doesn't always run better. Grab a Steam Deck with DeckHD installed and try to run BotW in Cemu at 900p to match the Switch version. It'll run like crap. Yuzu, on the other hand, runs much better. For whatever reason, Cemu seems to be less efficient on the GPU.
Take BotW as an example, on Yuzu I play at 4K and get stable framerate all day long. On Ryujinx be it at native or 4K, I get constant stuttering to the point is unplayable. Another more recent example was AI SONMIUM in which Ryujinx has long freezes during transitions, while Yuzu runs smoothly. ... Yuzu only achieves 25-30 spiking in BotW in steam deck from what I've seen. The community, and developers also haven't focused on BotW because Cemu is basically made around BotWs existence. CEMU is the way to go if you want to play Breath of the Wild on your PC or Steam Deck, don't get me wrong, Yuzu and Ryujinx are great emulators, but CEMU has years of optimization, nowadays you don't even need a good PC to run perfectly and still support online games like Mario Kart. BOTW is better in Cemu, it’s a weird edge case that will always run better. That said, yes, BOTW has been improved massively over the last few months and now works with the Vulkan renderer which is much faster.
