I'm new to the souls game and Dark Souls 2 SotFS being my first game. But I have a question regarding the Heide Knight in Forest of the Fallen Giants. I have been wanting to get the Heide Knight sword, but the problem being that every time I get to the tree that the knight is supposed to be leaning on, and he is not there.The knights in Heide Tower drop the sword. Bump your faith to 50 or 65 and infuse the sword with lightening. I prefer the Heide Spear, I don't like the sword's moveset. Also the fire longsword is easier to get, takes less stats to use, and will be useless end game unless you are a caster build. So I think the Fire Longsword definitely has more in common with the Drake Sword than the Heide Knight Sword does.
